Description
Open: Fri, Sat 22:00 – approx. 04:00.
Founded as a night club in the early 1950ies the small dance club has become a true insider's tip and the pioneer of the viennese gay community in the seventies. Vienna's very first gay club was then called "Brückenstube". After changing the name into "Why Not" in 1979 the club remains the only entirely gay dance club in town.
With its three bars and a well equipped small dancefloor the Why Not was renovated several times over the past few years. The music varies between Gay Disco Classics to the charts of today. The three bars offer different music for every taste. The club is airconditioned and opens on Friday, Saturday and before public holidays. Free entry until midnight for gays.
